In order to allow animal by-products and derived products to be used in exhibitions, artistic activities, diagnostics, educational and research purposes, for particular nutritional purposes, placing on the market or disposal under conditions which ensure the control of risks to human and animal health, an authorisation issued by the PVD shall be required.
