Representatives of the National Food Agency of Georgia visit the Food and Veterinary Service

Representatives of the National Food Agency of Georgia visit the Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Latvia from June 6 to June 10 to be introduced with the animal infectious diseases and food circulation monitoring system in Latvia.

During the study visit, Food and Veterinary Service experts introduce their Georgian counterparts with the planning of official veterinary and food safety control at state level, as well as at regional level in Latvia and visit the territorial structural units, as well as animal holdings and food business operators.

This visit is a part from EU funded project "Ensuring further progress of SPS and food safety system in Georgia".
