Authorisation for the distribution of parallel imports of veterinary medicinal products

Process description

1. Service requests
   The wholesaler of veterinary medicinal products shall notify the owner of the registration certificate for veterinary medicinal products, the European Medicines Agency, the owner of the trade mark for veterinary medicinal products, the Food and Veterinary Service regarding his or her intention to distribute the centralised registered veterinary medicinal products in Latvia.
   The wholesaler of veterinary medicinal products shall send the notification to the PVD electronically to the vzr@pvd.gov.lv, as well as submit an application for an authorisation.
   
   An application may also be submitted by e-mail, signed with an e-signature.
   
   Documents may also be submitted using the institution's e-address.
   
   Charges per service are specified in the price list (see below).

2. Service Processing
   The PVD shall consider the application.

3. Receipt of services
   Receipt of services according to the application of choice.
