Service requests
In order to make changes to a registered food supplement, an application must be submitted.
The documents shall be submitted to the PVD or by post.
Electronically signed documents:
• to be sent to an e-mail address in nrd@pvd.gov.lv;
• to be submitted via the e-address of the institution;
• to be submitted via the e-service institution's home page.
Before submitting the documents, the national fee, the amount of which for the service:
1. When changing the type of food supplement product, the unit size of the prepackage, the recommended daily (daily) dose, the quantity of ingredient or ingredients, EUR 100,00;
2. by making changes to the labelling or other accompanying information (e.g. the user guide), if they are not related to the changes referred to in the preceding paragraph, EUR 50,00.
If the payment of the State fee has not been made in good time, the examination of the documents submitted shall not be initiated.
In the case of changes to the food supplement included in the register of FVO food supplements, the operator should report to the PVD.Receipt of services
PVD within one month shall examine the documents submitted and take a decision about making changes to food supplements in the register.
